- How many carats should a diamond tennis bracelet be?
- Every tennis bracelet is offered in 2, 8 or 14 carats total weight. 2 ctw reads delicate and stacks easily with a watch; 8 ctw gives a continuous ribbon of light with very little metal visible between stones; 14 ctw is a bold, formal statement. Because every Modern Origin bracelet is made to order, each size is available in lengths from 5.5 to 8 inches at the same price.
- Tennis bracelet or chain bracelet — which should I choose?
- A tennis bracelet is a continuous line of diamonds and makes a statement on its own. A chain bracelet with a solitaire or bezel stations is lighter, more relaxed and made for layering — many customers wear one beside a tennis bracelet or a watch.
- Are laboratory-grown diamond bracelets real diamonds?
- Yes. A laboratory-grown diamond is chemically, physically and optically the same material as a mined diamond — pure crystallized carbon. The difference is origin: ours are grown in a controlled reactor rather than extracted from the earth, and our tennis bracelets ship with an independent IGI grading report describing the stones as laboratory-grown.
- Why do your tennis bracelets use D–E color and VVS clarity?
- In a tennis bracelet you are looking at 30 to 50 stones side by side, so any warmth or visible inclusion in one stone stands out against its neighbors. Every tennis bracelet is crafted only with D–E color and VVS1–VVS2 clarity so the line stays uniformly colorless. Many retailers advertise a low price on F color and VS1 stones, which look noticeably warmer once they sit next to each other.
- What length should I order?
- Measure your wrist snugly with a soft tape and add roughly half an inch. Most women order 6.5 to 7 inches; 7.5 inches wears looser and rotates more. Choose any length from 5.5 to 8 inches when you order — every length is the same price. Adjustments after delivery are available for a fee.
- How secure is the clasp?
- Every tennis bracelet uses a box clasp with a figure-eight safety catch soldered over it, so the clasp has to fail twice before the bracelet can open.
- How long does it take to receive?
- We do not hold stock. Your bracelet is crafted by our partner atelier after you order, then inspected and shipped insured from Tampa, FL in 2–3 weeks.
