Certification
A price means nothing without a grade behind it. Every laboratory-grown center diamond we sell arrives with an independent IGI report you can verify yourself.
Independent, not in-house
We do not grade our own stones. Grading is performed by the International Gemological Institute (IGI), an independent laboratory with published grading standards.
IGI report included
Your IGI report is included with your piece. Before anything ships, we inspect it in Tampa against that report and your order, so the stone you receive matches its paperwork.
Origin stated plainly
Reports for our stones state that the diamond is laboratory-grown. Laboratory-grown diamonds share the chemical, physical and optical properties of mined diamonds; they are not diamond simulants such as cubic zirconia or moissanite.
How your report is delivered
Your grading report details are provided within 1–2 business days after your order is submitted, and the report accompanies the finished piece at delivery.
How to read your report
- Carat weight
- Actual measured weight, not a rounded marketing figure.
- Color
- We hold a D–E standard — the top of the colorless range.
- Clarity
- We hold VVS1–VVS2, where inclusions are extremely difficult to see even at 10x.
- Cut
- Excellent or Ideal on round brilliants; fancy shapes are cut for light performance.
- Polish & symmetry
- Finish quality of the facets, which drives how crisp the sparkle reads.
- Fluorescence
- Reaction under UV light; we avoid stones with strong hazy fluorescence.
Verify it independently
Look up your report number in IGI's own online report check. If the report and the piece don't agree, we want to hear about it.
